Electronic Product Development Engineer



Electronic Product Development Engineer Network Technologies, an established manufacturer of KVM and video switching products, located near Cleveland, Ohio, USA, is seeking a talented professional to join its team. Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform product research for potential market opportunities
  • Create new product proposals, including technical performance, feature set, pricing goals, and cost estimates
  • Draft detailed product specifications, working closely with the software development team to define platform behavior
  • Design analog circuits and embedded systems utilizing 8-, 16-, & 32-bit microprocessors and create their schematics
  • Compose and verify programmable logic for any FPGAs or CPLDs in the design to reduce/eliminate processor overhead or necessity
  • Provide in-depth guidance to the PCB/CAD department for the layout of printed circuit boards
  • Bring up and troubleshoot new design prototypes, specifying testing parameters and procedures
  • Manage project in coordination with Sales, Marketing, and internal/external suppliers, providing planning, tracking, and allocation of resources to bring about the successful transition of the product into production

Qualifications Include:
  • 5+ years experience designing hardware with microprocessors
  • BSEE degree
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
