This position will fabricate sheet metal cases for our technical products such as Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) switches, console switches and extenders. Responsibilities include programming, set-up, and operating Trumpf CNC machine. Set-up and operate other metal fabrication machines including, but not limited to an Amada press brake, hardware insertion machine, drill, mill and sander. This is a 2nd shift position, working 5PM to 1:30AM and also occasionally works as a back-up in Shipping and Receiving.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervise in a leadership role to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Enforce company policies relating to job performance, company values, and safety.
  • Responsible for supporting activities in the area of cost containment, efficiency, productivity, waste minimization, inventory control, supporting focus on lean manufacturing principles and effectively coaching employees to perform.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in sheet metal fabrication in a fast paced environment.
  • 1+ years production supervisory experience.
  • General fabrication knowledge.
  • Experience with bending metal using a CNC press brake.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting, setting-up & editing CNC machines.
  • Experience working with tight tolerances (+/-0.005).
  • Powder coating and screen-printing experience a plus.
