We are currently seeking a Technician Aide. This is a Full-Time, second shift position that is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:



Responsibilities:
  • Electronic and mechanical assembly of high quality computer peripherals, such as single user Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) switches.
  • Perform assembly functions using approved drawings, diagrams, assembly work instructions, and assembly aids.
  • Soldering of printed circuit boards, including Surface Mount and Through-hole.
  • Make continuity checks on work and perform quality inspections on individual work, including printed circuit board and mechanical assemblies.
  • Properly document problems that occur. Complete activity logs and all appropriate documentation.
  • Control inventory by following proper purchasing and reorder procedures.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years assembly experience in an electronics environment and/or Associates degree in electronics.
  • Experience building electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies of high complexity, installing assemblies into consoles/systems and cabling consoles/systems.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow assembly-related engineering drawings, wire running lists, wire diagrams, and assembly work instructions.
  • Ability to solder printed circuit boards, including Surface Mount and Through-hole.
  • Experience using technical equipment such as custom gages and fixtures, hand torque tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Quality minded approach to work.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with limited errors.
  • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training a plus.
