We are currently seeking a Technician Aide. This is a Full-Time, second shift position that is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Electronic and mechanical assembly of high quality computer peripherals, such as single user Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) switches.
Perform assembly functions using approved drawings, diagrams, assembly work instructions, and assembly aids.
Soldering of printed circuit boards, including Surface Mount and Through-hole.
Make continuity checks on work and perform quality inspections on individual work, including printed circuit board and mechanical assemblies.
Properly document problems that occur. Complete activity logs and all appropriate documentation.
Control inventory by following proper purchasing and reorder procedures.

Qualifications:

2+ years assembly experience in an electronics environment and/or Associates degree in electronics.
Experience building electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies of high complexity, installing assemblies into consoles/systems and cabling consoles/systems.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow assembly-related engineering drawings, wire running lists, wire diagrams, and assembly work instructions.
Ability to solder printed circuit boards, including Surface Mount and Through-hole.
Experience using technical equipment such as custom gages and fixtures, hand torque tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Quality minded approach to work.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with limited errors.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training a plus.
