AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc today announced the addition of the ENVIROMUX® Secure Remote Power Reboot Switch with Environmental Monitoring to its popular line of Server Environment Monitoring Sensors and Accessories.

The IPDU-S2 Secure Remote Power Reboot Switch allows you to remotely reboot and control power (on/off) to two servers or other powered devices from any location via secure web interface, RS232, SSH, or Telnet.

Customize power control with three operating modes including manual, scheduled, and associated reboot. Schedule a daily, weekly or monthly power cycle based on a date, time, and duration. Associated power control can power on or off a device when a sensor goes out of range of a configurable threshold, or reboot if an IP device is unresponsive. Monitor up to eight IP network devices, and configure the timeout and number of retries to classify a device as unresponsive.

NTI units connect between computers and peripherals, are easy to use, and require no special tools or software for immediate operation.
