Keyboard

• User devices can be PS/2, SUN or MAC. The only MAC Keyboard supported is the Apple Extended keyboard.
  • SUN US/English keyboards are supported across all platforms. Non-US SUN keyboards are supported to Sun-only computers.
  • NTI recommends using SUN keyboards for multi platform use because they have the most keys.
• Keyboard and Mouse are hot-pluggable.
• MAC startup keys are supported on all platforms of input devices.
• Keystrokes are translated across platforms.

Monitor

• A multiscan VGA monitor is required to display the different video outputs from different platforms.
• Crisp & clear 1900x1200 resolution.
• 150 MHz bandwidth.

Power

• 110 or 220 VAC at 50 or 60Hz.

Mouse

• All connectors are female.
• Compatible with all standard 2-button PS/2 mice as well as the following:
  • Alps Glidepoint Touchpad - extended functions (i.e. tapping,etc.) are not supported.
  • Cirque Glidepoint Touchpad.
  • IBM Scroll Point Mouse - extended stick functions are not supported.
  • Kensington Orbit Trackball.
  • Logitech (and other) 3 button mice.
  • Logitech 2-button Wheel Mouse.
  • Microsoft Ballpoint mouse.
  • Microsoft IntelliMouse.
• SUN 3-button mice are supported.
• Wheel on IntelliMouse emulates Sun's third mouse button.
• MAC 1-button mice are supported. COMMAND + CLICK on the MAC mouse emulates SUN/PC right click.
• Smooth mouse movement.

Switch Configuration

• Empty slots allow the user to configure the box with any combination of up to eight users and up to 32 computers
• Seven segment displays on the front panel show selected port for each user.

• Any PS/2 platform computers,including laptops, HP9000, Silicon Graphics and IBM RS6000.
• Any SUN, including ULTRAs.
• All Macs, including MAC Duo Docks, G3's and Macs with dongle devices.

Keyboard

• Use the keyboard to command the switch box
  to select ports or configure the SCAN delay.

• All NTI Multi-User ST switches have an RS232 connector built in.

Keyboard & Mouse

• PS/2 compatible with female 6 pin miniDIN connectors.
• Use VOPEX-IM9D to connect 9D serial mouse ports to CPU-PC.
• Use ADP-5D6MD-R and VKINT-MM cable to connect 5 pin DIN keyboard port to CPU-PC.

• Connector is female 15 pin high density.

• Directly compatible with SUN ULTRA 5 and 10.
• CPU-SUN has three jumpers for setting video ID bits for resolution.
