ST-C5V-300: CPU does not detect the keyboard and the mouse.

Issue: CPU does not detect the keyboard and the mouse.

Cause: Keyboard or mouse cable are loose or reversed.

Solution: Check cable connections.

OR

Cause: CATx cable is too long.

Solution: CATx cable can be no more than 300 feet in length.

OR

Cause: Did not follow proper power up sequence.

Solution: Power down all devices and apply power in this order:

• Remote Unit

• Local Unit

• PC (host)
