ST-C6HD-HDBT: Monitor flashes or goes blank for a second or two.

Issue: Monitor flashes or goes blank for a second or two.

Cause: Electrical power system is very noisy; particularly the ground.

Solution: Ensure the interconnection cable is not near any power lines.

OR

Cause: The CATx cable is not properly connected.

Solution: Check cable connections. Ensure ends are properly and completely snapped-in.

OR

Cause: CATx or HDMI/DVI cable is too long.

Solution: Switch to shorter cable or lower resolution (max. length is 328 feet).
