E-5D: Cannot access ENVIROMUX through my browser
Issue: Cannot access ENVIROMUX through my browser.
Cause: If other websites can be accessed, browser is not clearing its cache.
Solution: Clear browser cache and try to access the ENVIROMUX again.
OR
Cause: Bad network (CAT5) patch cable.
Solution: Verify connection with known good cable.
OR
Cause: Browser not supported.
Solution: Check that supported browser is being used:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
Netscape 7.2 or higher
Mozilla FireFox 1.5 or higher
Opera 9.0
OR
Cause: Trying to connect to the wrong IP address.
Solution: Type correct IP address into browser URL field. If IP address is unknown, use Discovery Tool to identify it.
OR
Cause: User is not authorized.
Solution: See administrator for user name and password.
OR
Cause: IP conflict (two units on the same IP address).
Solution: Change IP address to resolve conflict.
Log into unit via USB console.
Under “Network Settings,” change the IP address.
OR
Cause: Network configuration error.
Solution: Check that the communication is not blocked by a firewall, an inaccurate default gateway, subnet mask, or other network related restrictions.
OR
Cause: Just set up DHCP and not connected to a DHCP switch.
Solution: Reconfigure the unit to static IP or verify the DHCP server and addresses available.
