E-MICRO: Can the E-MICRO ping traffic on a 10.x.x.x network and send emails to 153.x.x.x mail relay server?
Yes. If the E-MICRO is on the 10.x.x.x network, it can ping any device on the network and send emails to the 153.x.x.x mail server relay.
A DSL type router wold work in this set up, but the E-MICRO would need a gateway set in the network settings that would allow traffic to be sent to the 153.x.x.x network.
NOTE: this is true as long as the 10.x.x.x network is the "private" network and the 153.x.x.x is the "public" network. Otherwise, special port forwarding needs to be set up on the network for switching from the "public" network to the "private" network.
