E-1W: Not Receiving Alert Messages

Issue: Not receiving alert messages.

Cause: Using E-mail that doesn't supports SSL encryption (like Gmail).

Solution: When security is required, make sure the email server supports SSLv3 Authentication Protocol.

OR

Cause: E-mail does not support encryption, instead uses standard authentication.

Solution: When using standard authentication (which only requires a username and password), make sure the username and passwords are entered correctly and that “SSL Required” is unchecked.

NOTE: Make sure the port number entered is correct.
