E-SEMS-16: Unable to Send Out E-mail Alerts with IMAP or POP ports

Issue: Unable to Send Out E-mail Alerts with IMAP or POP ports.

Cause: ENVIROMUX-SEMS-16 does not use IMAP or POP ports.

Solution: IMAP and POP ports are only for receiving email. To enable outgoing email alerts, set up SMTP server and ensure the following:

• Correct IP address for SMTP server.

• SMTP port is supported, usually corresponding with:

• Unauthorized port: 25

• SSL port: 465

• TLS port: 587

• SSL is enabled or disabled as necessary.

• Only fill in username and password if required for SMTP server.
