E-16D: Sensor connected to DIGITAL IN terminal stops working
Issue: Sensor connected to DIGITAL IN terminal stops working.
Cause: Sensor is rated for more current than the terminal can supply. Fuse protecting the port has opened.
E-EDR-SF and E-EDR-SCR Electric Strike may cause this if they are connected to DIGITAL IN terminals 1-7.
Solution: Disconnect failed sensor. Power cycle the unit. Reconnect the sensor, ensuring that its current requirements fall within the connected terminal limitations. Alternatively, avoid powering down the unit by waiting 10 minutes after disconnecting the sensor to reset the internal fuse.
DIGITAL IN terminals 1-7 max. load: 50mA
DIGITAL IN terminal 8 max. load: 650mA
