Features & Applications

The XPANDMUX™ ST-MX-xO Switch Expansion Unit is used to combine up to 16 NODEMUX ST-nXm-U Universal Matrix KVM Switches together to create a total capacity of eight users and 512 computers--all with true non-blocking matrix switching.

All users can access any computer at any time without interfering with each other. You can add switches as your operation grows instead of replacing them. On Screen Display (OSD) is standard on all models.

Cables

Interface cables between the NODEMUX ST-nXm-U and the XPANDMUX ST-MX-xO are required for proper operation.
- Connections are made from the ST-MX-xO to the ST-nXm-U using a VKTINT-1 and a VKTINT-xx-MM cable for the mouse and keyboard connections and a VEXT-xx-MM cable for the video connection.
NTI Universal cables between user devices and the XPANDMUX ST-MX0xO are required for proper operation.
