E-2D: Cannot get Discovery Tool to work

Issue: Cannot get Discovery Tool to work.

Cause: Java Runtime Environment not installed.

Solution:

• Install Java Runtime Environment.

• Go to http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

• Download and install the Java Runtime Environment.

• Clear the browser's Java Cache.

  OR

  Cause: Computer and E-2D are not in the same subnet

  Solution: Ensure computer and E-2D are in same subnet

• Log into unit via USB console.

• Configure “Network Settings” to ensure that both computer and unit are in the same subnet.
