    1. What are the basic differences between NTI's KVM switch products?
    NTI produces a complete line of KVM Switches to provide the flexibility our customers demand. All of our electronic switches incorporate dedicated internal microprocessors that emulate keyboard and mouse presence to each attached CPU 100% of the time so all computers boot error-free.

    The ST-nXm-U family of Universal Matrix KVM Switches enables up to 8 users to individually command or simultaneously share up to 32 computers. Used in conjunction with the ST-MX-x Switch Expansion Unit, (formerly known as the Multiplexor Box) up to 8 users can share 512 PC, MAC or SUN CPUs. This low-cost option utilizes standard VGA cables and NTI's interface cables to connect your CPUs, eliminating the need to purchase plug-in modules. Ideal for network managers who value convenience, flexibility and expandability.

    The ST-nXm family of Modular Matrix KVM Switches enables up to 8 users to individually command or simultaneously share up to 32 PC, MAC and SUN computers using plug-in modules with standard cables. Supports any PS/2 platform computers, including laptops, HP9000, Silicon Graphics and IBM RS6000; any SUN, including ULTRAs; and all MACs, including MAC Duo Docks, G3's and MACs with dongle devices. Modules can be added or changed as needed. The newest CPU-USB plug-in module supports USB connections for the keyboard and mouse to USB computers. Used in conjunction with the ST-MX-x Multiplexor Box, up to 8 users can share 512 CPUs.
