Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of the VEEMUX HDMI Matrix Switch over HDBase-T with direct HDMI inputs and CAT6 outputs to its popular line of video matrix switches.

The VEEMUX HDMI Matrix Switch Over HDBase-T with direct HDMI inputs and CAT6 outputs routes uncompressed digital HDMI signal and IR from eight HDMI video sources to eight displays (projectors, monitors, etc.) and speakers via inexpensive CAT6 cable using HDBase-T technology. It is capable of connecting to as many as eight HDMI video sources directly and eight video displays via receivers with a maximum extension of 328 feet (100 meters) from the switch using CAT6 cable.

The VEEMUX HDMI Matrix Switch Over HDBase-T can be configured and controlled through serial port, front panel buttons, or Infrared remote control. Infrared can be used to control the matrix switch with the included remote control and a HDMI source from the remote unit by using an existing source remote. The matrix switch supports HDTV resolutions to 1080p and each input can be independently connected to any or all outputs while video quality adjustment is done automatically at every connection change.

The VEEMUX SM-8X8-C6HDR-HDBT HDMI Matrix Switch is HDCP compliant and supports the following HDMI features: 12-bit Deep Color, x.v.Color, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, DTS 7.1, LPCM, bandwidth up to 225 MHz (6.75 Gbps), CEC (consumer electronic control) compatible devices, Lip Sync, and 3D. The unit features no loss of audio or video quality between the switch and remote units. Both the matrix switch and remote unit possess two female Ethernet ports for connecting standard network devices such as 100Base-T routers and hubs.

Each package comes with one 8x8 HDMI matrix switch over HDBase-T, eight HDBase-T remote units, eight IR remotes, eight IR transmitters, nine IR receivers, one 12V power supply, eight 5V power supplies, one CD for RS232 control, and the user manual.
