AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc today announced the availability of its new 2002 Product Catalog, featuring an extensive range of KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) switches, splitters, and cabling for PC, PS/2, Sun, Macintosh, and Silicon Graphics systems. The NTI 2002 Catalog introduces several new product releases, and NTI's new family of brand names. It provides color photographs and clear, color-coded configuration & cable illustrations in eight color-coded sections:
  • KVM Switches
    • KEEMUX™ Single-User PS/2 KVM Switches. A single keyboard, monior and mouse control up to 152 PCs.
    • NODEMUX™ Universal Multi-Platform KVM Switches allow one user to control up to 152 PC, Mac or Sun computers.
    • NODEMUX™ Universal Multi-Platform Matrix KVM Switches allow up to eight users to simultaneously and independently control up to 512 computers with non-blocking access. On-Screen Display with security features is built-in, as is RS232 control. Several models are now available in a new high-density design that saves rack space.
    • The new UNIMUX™ USB KVM Switch introduces multiple-user switchingfor USB-enabled PC, Sun and Mac computers! Up to eight users control up to 32 USB computers. Both this switch and the single-user UNIMUX USB KVM Switch feature NTI's patented USB autoboot technology, which allows users to boot all attached USB-enabled computers in one operation (other USB KVM switches require individual, sequential boot-up). Both switches provide flawless Sun compatibility (verified by Sun's independent test labs).


  • SERIMUX™ Console Serial Switch - NTI's new console switch allows network administrators to centally manage local or remote server farms or data centers from one location. It provides secure, out-of-band access to up to 32 serial devices (servers, routers, network switches, and other network components) from one local or remote location. Run a remote site from any distance via serial ports and a standard external modem.

  • VEEMUX™ VGA Video Matrix Switches with new Stereo Audio support allow users to to switch video and audio from many computers to multiple monitors, projectors and speakers. Switch VGA directly, eliminating bulky BNC cables. This switch provides more connections, with up to 32 inputs (computer video and audio) and up to 16 outputs (monitors, projectors, speakers, etc.). Route any input to any output or multiple outputs. NTI's Matrix Control Software is built-in, providing easy drag-and-drop control. Crisp and clear 1900x1200 video resolution is delivered to every screen, with video bandwidth of 200 MHz or greater.

  • VOPEX™ KVM Splitters let users access the same computer from multiple locations. This switch is perfect for manufacturing environments where computers must be controlled both from the shop floor and the network administrator's office. VOPEX™ Video Splitters drive the same image from one computer to up to 100 monitors. Ideal for presentations demanding perfect 1900x1200 resolution graphic display.

  • VIDMUX™ Video Only Switches Switches allow users to control multiple computers with just one VGA, SUN or BNC monitor.

  • XTENDEX™ KVM and Video Only Extenders are now available in a new, compact model designed to provide extension up to 500 feet, as well as the original models, which provide extension up to 1,000 feet. These extenders allow users to clean up cabling runs and place control where they need it, while protecting computers from hazards such as theft. New XTENDEX™ USB Extenders connect up to four USB devices (keyboards, mice, cameras, printers, scanners, etc.) and extend them up to 100 feet from the host computer using unshielded CAT5 cable.

  • Cables and adapters - High-quality cables extend 1900x1200 resolution up to 250 feet. New USB-SUN and USB-ADB adapters let you control both legacy and USB computers with the same NTI switch. Combination cables eliminate cable clutter by combining VGA monitor cables with either PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse cables, under one jacket.
