Features & Applications
The VOPEX^® HDTV Audio/Video Splitter/Extender via CAT5 is ideal for systems where high resolution YPbPr component video signals along with digital audio signals must be transmitted long distances to multiple displays and speakers. The VOPEX system has two components: the local HDTV boradcast unit, which connects to the YPbPr component video device and also supplies audio/video to a local display and speakers, and a remote unit for each remote display and speakers. The units are interconnected by CAT5/5e/6 cable up to 600 feet. Broadcast real-time HDTV YPbPr component video and digital audio to multiple locations. Supports High Definition and Standard Definition component YPbPr component video, S-Video or composite video. Supports S/PDIF, DTS Digital Surround™, and Dolby Digital™ 5.1 digital audio signals. Supports 480i (interlaced), 480p (progressive), 720i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p formats with no image degradation. All audio/video inputs and outputs have RCA cable connectors. Easily transmit high-definition component video singals to projectors in the ceiling by using compact CAT5 instead of bulky cable bundles. Ideal for digital signage, movie theater lobbies, point of purchase displays, conference centers, airports, and other applications that require multiple displays. Easily expandable. Add remote units as you add displays. A pure hardware solution - no software conflicts.
