Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of the Low-Cost DisplayPort Extender that transmits digital and audio signals up to 50 feet away from a source using two CAT6a cables.
Each ST-C6DP-LC video extender consists of a local unit that connects to a DisplayPort source and a remote unit that connects to a DisplayPort display. Supporting HDTV resolutions to 1080p and computer resolutions to 1920x1200, the unit comes with adjustable equalization (EQ) to ensure video and audio quality. The unit extends DisplayPort signals up to 50 feet with two solid CAT6a UTP 23 AWG cables, or up to 25 feet with two solid CAT6 UTP or CAT7 23 AWG cables. Audio signals are embedded within the DisplayPort signals.
The extender is compliant with DisplayPort 1.1b standards and only requires one power supply at the remote unit to power both local and remote units, enabling flexible digital signage installations.
Available for immediate sale, the Low-Cost DisplayPort Extender costs $140.
