Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the INTERMUX™ DVI USB KVM over IP to its popular line of KVM Server Switches. The USB KVM IP Gateway controls one or many computers locally at the server site or remotely via the internet using a standard browser.
The INTERMUX-KVMDUAIP allows BIOS level access to systems for maintenance, support, and failure recovery, which is securely accessed via 1024-bit PKI authentication, 256-bit SSL data encryption, LDAP, RADIUS, and Active Directory authentication. Multiple users can access the device simultaneously and manage servers from around the world. Virtual media is supported for delivering patches/upgrades as if on-site and for remote file transfer. The KVM on IP unit features a built-in 2-port Ethernet hub, and has a cost effective Zero-U design. Users can manage an unlimited number of INTERMUX-KVMDUAIP devices with the included Java-based software.
The DVI USB KVM over IP supports digital DVI resolutions up to 2048x1152 and analog VGA resolutions up to 1920x1200, and optimizes the video compression according to bandwidth availability. It supports the HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, TCP/IP, DHCP, IPV4, DDNS, and NTP protocols. The INTERMUX-KVMDUAIP is compatible with multiple operating systems, including Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10, Windows Server 2000/2003/2008/2012, Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD, and MAC OS 9/10.
