NTI’s Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems Now Support Remote Power Reboot Switch as an IP-Connected Sensor

Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of a new feature to its popular line of E-xD Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems – support for the PWR-RMT-RBT-C13 Remote Power Reboot Switch as an IP sensor.

The PWR-RMT-RBT-C13 Remote Power Reboot Switch can now function as an IP-connected remote sensor for the E-2D, E-5D, or E-16D Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems. Users are able to connect up to two PWR-RMT-RBT-C13 Remote Power Reboot Switches. All sensors connected to the E-xD, including the Remote Power Reboot Switch, can be viewed on a single summary page.

NTI’s ENVIROMUX® Environment Monitoring Systems monitor in real-time the parameters of many connected sensors used for detecting environmental and security conditions, and sends out alerts to personnel when a sensor goes out of range of a configurable threshold. Alerts are sent via various communication channels such as: email, alarm beacon, siren, web page, network management (SNMP), voice phone calls, and SMS messages. Rapid changes in temperature and humidity, water leaks, power outages, human error, and invasive intrusions are the most common environmental threats faced by businesses in any industry.
