NTI Introduces a 4-Port USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) Extender via CAT6a up to 328 Feet

Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the XTENDEX® 4-Port USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) Extender via CAT6a Cable to its popular line of USB extenders. It extends four USB 3.2 (3.0)/2.0/1.1 devices up to 328 feet (100 meters) using HDBaseT-certified CAT6a F/FTP or U/FTP cable, up to 229 feet (70 meters) using standard CAT6a/7 F/FTP or U/FTP cable, or up to 150 feet (45 meters) using standard CAT6 U/UTP cable.

Each USB3-C6A-4 extender consists of a local unit that connects to a computer, and a remote unit that connects to four USB devices. The local and remote units are interconnected via CAT6a/7 cable.

With fully transparent USB connections, it is ideal for extending self-powered and/or bus-powered USB peripheral devices, such as flash drives, external hard drives, portable monitors, 4K USB webcams, smartphones/tablets, interactive whiteboards, etc. The extender supports super-speed (5 Gbps), high-speed (480 Mbps), full-speed (12 Mbps), or low-speed (1.5 Mbps) USB devices.
