NTI Introduces Multiple HDMI Extender Modules in a Rack

AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the XTENDEX® Multiple HDMI Extender Modules and Rackmount Extender Module Tray to its popular line of extenders.

The Rackmount Extender Module Tray allows you to mount up to 12 extender modules in a space-saving 2RU shelf. The local extender modules and remote desktop units are interconnected via one CAT5/5e/6/7 cable. The optional dual HDMI transmitter modules house two local units in a single case, to connect each local module to 2 sources via CAT5/5e/6/7 cable. The local access/CEC support option supports both local and remote HDMI displays, and Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) for the local display. Only one power supply is necessary per local rackmount module to power both the local module and the remote unit(s). A Power Distribution Module is also available to power 12 rackmount extender modules.

Available for immediate sale, the Rackmount Extender Module Tray costs $199, the Power Distribution Module for the Extender Module Tray costs $620, and the HDMI Extender modules range in price from $240 to $495.
