NTI Now Offering a 4K 18Gbps HDMI Extender via One Fiber Optic Cable

Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the XTENDEX® 4K 18Gbps HDMI Extender via Fiber Optic Cable to its popular line of HDMI Video Extenders. The extender locates an Ultra-HD 4K HDMI display, IR, and RS232 up to 3,280 feet away from a 4K HDMI source using a single fiber optic strand.

The ST-FO4K18GB-RS-LC system consists of two components: the 4K 18Gbps HDMI transmitter, which connects to the HDMI source; and a receiver that connects to a 4K HDMI display. The units are interconnected by fiber optic cable that extends Ultra-HD 4Kx2K 60Hz 4:4:4 video up to 3,280 feet away using an LC singlemode cable or 984 feet away using an LC multimode cable.

HDMI features supported include: HDMI 2.0; 4:4:4 YUV, 4:2:2, and RGB; 8-/10-/12-bit Deep Color; Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, Dolby Atmos, LPCM 2/5.1/7.1CH, DTS 5.1, and DTS:X; Bandwidth up to 18 Gbps; and 3D. The unit is HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 compliant, and supports bi-directional IR control and full-duplex RS232 up to 115200 baud.

Ideal for digital signage solutions, the 4K extender features plug-and-play functionality, low RFI/EMI for sensitive applications, and integrated mounting brackets for easy surface/wall mounting.
