AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc announced the addition of the XTENDEX™ ST-C5V-300 VGA Extender via CAT5 and the ST-C5KVM-300 KVM Extender via CAT5 to its popular line of peripheral extension products. In response to customer requests for medium-range extension options, NTI has added these shorter, more inexpensive solutions to its product line.
The XTENDEX ST-C5V-300 VGA Extender broadcasts VGA video locally and remotely up to 300 feet away from a computer using CAT5/5e/6 cable. Each video extender consists of a local unit connected to a computer or the output of an NTI switch, and a remote unit connected to a monitor or the input of an NTI switch. It supports resolutions up to 1920x1440, and is available with an audio option. Priced at $200-$315, the VGA Extender is immediately available.
The XTENDEX ST-C5KVM-300 provides local and remote KVM (PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse and VGA monitor) access to a PC or NTI KVM switch up to 300 feet using CAT5/5e/6 UTP cable. It supports resolutions up to 1920x1440, and is available with an audio option. This versatile extender is the perfect solution for situations where a control station is needed in an unsecure location or harsh environment, such as a loading dock, factory floor or construction site. Priced at $290-$325, the KVM Extender is immediately available.
